Micro:
A fun introduction for swimmers aged 4-10 who have attempted swimmer 1, passed jellyfish or have been assessed by one of our coaches. Upon entering Micro, swimmers MUST be comfortable submerging their head, blowing bubbles, are able to swim in the leisure pool without a lifejacket and listens to instructions well. Micro groups swim for 30 minutes in the leisure pool.
Introduction to Competitive:
An introduction to competitive swimming, for swimmers aged 5-10 who have passed swimmer 1, passed salmon or have been assessed by one of our coaches. Introduction to competitive groups swim for 30 minutes in the leisure pool.
Foundations to Competitive:
Foundations to competitive swimming introduces and increases swimmers’ confidence in the lane pool. Foundations is for swimmers aged 6-12 that have passed swimmer 2 or have been assessed by one of our coaches. Swimmers must be able to swim a lap in the leisure pool, without touching the bottom or stopping, in order to join this group. Foundation to competitive groups swim for 30 minutes (15 minutes in the leisure pool and 15 minutes in the lane pool every practice).
Developmental:
Development groups are highly focused on technique and are focused on developing swimmers’ competition skills. Swimmers are aged 7-15 and must be able to swim 25m in the lane pool upon entering the group. Developmental groups swim for 45 minutes in the lane pool.
*Please note that developmental swimmers can only practice with our club MAXIMUM 2 hours per week (2 days) during the fall and winter sessions to maintain their “S” status at competitions in the summer season.
Junior Competitive:
Our junior group focuses on building swimmers’ endurance and technique. Swimmers must be able to swim 50m and have been assessed by one of our coaches. Practices are 1 hour in the main pool

Senior Competitive:
Swimmers must be able to swim 50m and have been assessed by one of our coaches. Practices are 1 hour in the main pool. Our senior group is broken down into our younger senior swimmers, divisions 1-3, and our older senior swimmers, divisions 4-8.

Masters:
Swimmers must be able to swim 25m continuously. Previous formal speed swimming training is not required to take part in this group. This program is for family members (18+) of our swimmers that are looking to get in the water for a good workout while practicing their technique and building their endurance. Practices are 45 minutes in the lane pool.
Competitive Masters (Div 10):
Swimmers must be able to swim 50m continuously. This program is for family members (18+) of our swimmers. Our competitive master’s group is ONLY for those that are looking to compete. Practices are 1 hour in the lane pool.
